Well, Mendocino was splendid as expected. We performed ceremonies on the headland cliff sides, shared bread pudding in a little bakery, and rode up to stay with folks at Navarro Ridge Ranch, in a little guest cabin called the sheep shack, surrounded by chickens and gardens. On our way out of town, we encountered two quails, three turkeys, a dozen deer, three pelicans, one skunk, one falcon, two hawks.
